Contraindication

This Pranayama should be better avoided during these conditions.
1.Hypotension
2.cold
3.Asthma
4.in winter
5.Any pain in body
6.Constipation

Indications

This Chandrabhedana Pranayama or breathing exercise can be done to get relieved for the following conditions.
1.Insomnia or sleeplessness
2.Hypertension
3.Ulcer
4.Gastritis
5.Tension
6.Stress etc

Procedure

Sit in any Meditative Yogaasana or sit in normal sitting Posture
Keep your Back Strait.
Close Your Eyes.
Keep your left palm on your left knee in chin mudra(Join the forefinger and thumb and strech the other three fingers. palm shold face upwards)
Adopt Nasikagra Mudra with your right Hand(Flex forefinger and middle finger.last two finger and thumb should not be flexed)
Now Inhale or breathe in through the left nostril closing the right nostril of your nose with the Thumb of Your Right Hand.
Breathe in slowly and deeply as much as possible.
Now Exahle or Breathe out through your right Nostril by closing the Left nostril of your nose with the Ring and little finger of your right hand.
Breathe in slowly and deeply as much as possible.
This finishes One round.
Repeat it for five rounds.
Your concentration should be on breathing only.
